Next Wednesday, February 11th, you're favorite bloggers will be attending a Valentine's Day Charity Event at Midtown West's Hot Spot, HighBar. It is an intimate, invitation only, red-carpet fundraising event in celebration of Valentine’s Day to raise money for Charity: Water.
" Water is a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Most of us have never really been thirsty. We have never had to leave our houses and walk 5 miles to fetch water. We simply turn on the tap, and water comes out. More than 1.1 billion people on the planet do not have clean water. It is hard to imagine what a billion people looks like really, but one in six might be easier. One in six people in our world do not have access to the most basic of human needs. Something we cannot imagine going 12 hours without."We are very excited to dress up and dance the night away in support of a good cause. You all should get out and do the same. In this "Great Recession" you may think you have it bad but there is ALWAYS someone who has it worse. Do your part and give back!
