When you combine weather and women, no city in the country is hotter than Miami. That’s why the U garnered our highest Bikini index score. Although Nikki Beach is the most beautiful topless seashore in the country, a recent grad raves about “hard-bodied coeds laying out on the campus lake between classes.” Frat parties rage, but you don’t have to know a secret handshake to stay out late; some clubs and bars in South Beach are permitted to stay open 24 hours a day. The University of Miami is the only private school to crack our top 10, and while its academics are in no way close to those of the Ivy League, you can get a great education here without skimping on fun. Who are you Nick Maslow?

So... I came across another interesting character on facebook yesterday. I'm pretty good at finding these gems ( take JRL for example). I am obsessed with University of Miami's Nick Maslow. 

He's a stud, has great hair, is insanely witty....and a GREAT entertainment reporter.

In his status update, he mentioned a contest he is in. It took us literally 2 minutes to watch his adorable video and vote...(we voted multiple times SHHH!!)

The City's Erin Williams (Yes, again)

One of our lovely tipsters e-mailed us this little tidbit blogging about The City's Erin Williams. This blog states, yet again, what all our readers have already known...Erin Williams, the daughter of AC/DC's Cliff Williams DID go to the University of Miami. We all know who Erin William's is and she is no longer a "mystery chick". Blog about something we don't know about her, we're yawning.

Miami New Times Blog goes on to bash (okay, attempts to bash) As Good As It's Guests and our Long Island born and raised "authors" while failing miserably with grammatical errors and missing words. (Spell check?) If you wish 90% of the school would "go back to Long Island", maybe you should think about how they feel about you. You may be better off in, well...Kansas (they may "get" you there) Keep on bashing us, we love reading about ourselves. (Now we know how Justin Ross Lee feels!)

While watching TV tonight I saw a clip for the new show "The City," starring Whitney Port. Near the end I recognized a familiar face....Erin Williams. University of Miami Alumni....

Feeling's on change

I wrote this after my graduation from The University of Miami....boy did I have no idea what my life was going to be like in NY.

May 2007

After spending four years in Miami, I'm back in New York....I will miss crazy nights in South beach- Passing lines of over 40 people asking for Joey at the door, VIP access for all of my friends while guzzling free grey goose, going to sleep while the sun was waking, hurricane soaked rain boots, shopping on lincoln road, living in a mall.But now it's back to Long Island....Something about how the harbor looks around 7pm can't be replaced.

I think I thought life would look like this...

But I guess you can't avoid where you're destined to be...
