Tonight is the Metropolitan Museum of Art 

Young Members Party.

This is going to be an amazing evening filled with libations and wonderful people... 

maybe even a little dancing under the stars?

Join us for cocktails and dancing in the Carroll and Milton Petrie European Sculpture Court, which holds some of the Met's most beloved masterpieces. Socialize while you admire the Manhattan skyline from the renowned Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden and view the special exhibition "Roxy Paine on the Roof:Maelstrom" (weather permitting). Indoors, enjoy The Costume Institute's latest special exhibition, "The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion," which will be open for an exclusive viewing during the party. According to my friend Steve Close, this is thee Summer event to attend.Tickets were pretty hard to come by, but as a Birthday surprise my good friend Stan was able to get tickets for Sara and I.  Luckily we got off work tomorrow!

As some of you may or may not be aware, I am a Hodgkin Lymphoma survivor. I finished six months of chemotherapy on June 12, 2008. I am dedicated to raising awareness and funds for research to cure all blood cancers. In August, I joined the New York City chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training program in order to participate in the Walt Disney World Marathon on January 10, 2009 in Orlando, Florida. Since Team In Training's inception in 1988, more than 360,000 participants have raised over $850 million to support LLS's research and patient services programs.
